Welcome back to the Team Respawn Halo Wars 2 stats report — a weekly digest built from activity on our HW2 stats tool. For the rolling seven days ending June 29, 2026, 913 new players were added to the stats database, Captain Cutter led aggregate leader picks, and Team War was the busiest tracked mode with 2,627 matches in our sample. Ranked playlists, Blitz, and both Firefight modes are all represented below; Firefight leader callouts are PvE-oriented and should be read with that context. Blitz and Firefight volumes depend on profile lookups, so those samples remain small.

Captain Cutter led the aggregate sample with 865 picks (17.9%) and a 50.8% win rate across all tracked modes. Colony followed at 503 picks (10.4%) with 51.6% WR, while Sergeant Forge, Sergeant Johnson, and Commander Jerome rounded out the top five. Cutter's share is driven heavily by Team War and 3v3 volume; Decimus still owns the 2v2 leaderboard this week despite finishing outside the aggregate top five.

Aggregate map rotation favored Bedrock (389 picks, 14.8%), Vault (354, 13.5%), and Frontier (347, 13.2%). Ashes and Rift completed the top five at 331 and 324 appearances respectively.

Leader powers

Sentinel Beacon dominated casts with 5,454 total uses across the week. Enduring Salvo Inspiration I followed at 3,234 casts, and Lotus Mines I logged 1,250. Bunker Drop I registered 1,069 casts, while Restoration Drones I hit 1,014. Victory Mine I, the Grunt Hustle trio — Heal, Speed, and Mech Heal at tier I — and Cleansing Beam I rounded out the top ten at 991, 853, 853, 852, and 712 casts respectively.
