Welcome back to the Team Respawn Halo Wars 2 stats report — a weekly digest built from activity on our HW2 stats dashboard and player profile lookup. For the rolling seven days ending August 3, 2026, 1,634 new players were added to the stats database, Captain Cutter led aggregate leader picks, and Team War was the busiest tracked mode with 4,494 matches in our sample. Ranked playlists, Blitz, and both Firefight modes are all represented below; Firefight leader callouts are PvE-oriented and should be read with that context. Blitz and Firefight volumes depend on profile lookups, so those samples remain small.

Captain Cutter led the aggregate sample with 1,560 picks (14.9%) and a 54.9% win rate across all tracked modes. Sergeant Forge followed at 1,012 picks (9.7%) with 50.4% WR, while Atriox, Colony, and Decimus rounded out the top five at 897, 846, and 822 picks respectively. Atriox posted a 54.1% aggregate win rate in the sample, and Decimus held 53.4% WR across tracked modes.

Aggregate map rotation favored Rift (617 picks, 13.7%), Bedrock (613, 13.6%), and Vault (584, 13%). Frontier and Ashes completed the top five at 579 and 548 appearances respectively.

Leader powers

Sentinel Beacon led casts with 18,068 total uses across the week. Enduring Salvo Inspiration I followed at 11,300 casts, and Lotus Mines I logged 2,819 casts. Grunt Hustle Speed I, Grunt Mech Heal I, and Grunt Hustle Heal I each registered 2,628 casts. Decimus Y Ability recorded 2,594 casts, and Grunt Hustle Speed II, Grunt Mech Heal II, and Grunt Hustle Heal II each reached 2,486 casts.
